This paper presents an effective and semi-automated method for detecting 3D edges in point clouds with the help of high-resolution digital images. The effort aims to contribute towards addressing unsolved problem automated production vector drawings from cultural heritage objects. Edges are simplest primitives detect unorganized cloud algorithm was developed perform this task. provided defined measured on 2D images known orientation, determines plane by edge image its perspective center. is accomplished applying suitable transformations coordinates points based Analytical Geometry relationships properties planes space. inevitably contains cloud. then detects isolates those which define world system.
